Portugal won their match against Slovakia in today's Euro's Qualifiers matchday. Cristiano Ronaldo captained his national team at Bratislava and after taking home the 3 points, his team will remain on top of group J. Portugal's manager Roberto Martínez keeps collecting wins in his new role and his team is proving that they are one of the favorites for the Euro's in Germany next year.

Manchester United superstar Bruno Fernandes scored the only goal of the game for the 1-0 win against Slovakia. He scored after running past a couple of defenders and shooting across the goal into the bottom corner to beat his former teammate at the ‘Red Devils’ Martin Dubravka. Despite having the clear initiative to score a second goal, Slovakia had their chances to tie the match but Portugal's defensive players did their work and took home the clean sheet.

Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't score a goal today but he played the 90 minutes of the match. Some bad news for Portugal as Cristiano was shown a yellow card after a collision with Slovakian goalkeeper Dubravka and will miss the next match against Luxembourg on Monday.
