The signing of Cristiano Ronaldo to the Al Nassr club was the start of a new era in the Saudi Pro League. It generated many disagreements among the fans, since the championship had no passion for soccer and it was all about money.

There is no denying that since the arrival of the Portuguese gunner the tournament has grown and with him new figures have arrived, as is the case of Karin Benzema and N'golo Kanté at Al Nassr's rival club called Al Ittihad. These figures will become richer than they are because of the great money they will receive.

Another of the figures that is in the eyes of various clubs in Saudi Arabia is the Spanish goalkeeper who saved at Manchester United, David De Gea. Another goalkeeper could have been Keylor Navas, but the Costa Rican rejected the offer because he intends to continue in the elite.

One of the players who was in Al Nassr's sights for the next season was the Portuguese Bernardo Silva. The leadership of the Saudi club would have thought that pairing Cristiano Ronaldo with his teammate would work, but they forgot about the discussion they had.

The star that would leave

During the 2022 World Cup they had a discussion over the captaincy, where they took the CR7 bracelet off and gave it to Bernardo. For this reason, Silva would reject Al Nassr's offer to not be with Ronaldo and would go to Paris Saint Germain. PSG should pay a figure of 80 million euros to get him out of Manchester City, in addition to paying him a better contract than the one he currently receives.
