Barcelona, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all interested in signing Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez, according to reports in Europe. The 21-year-old is out of contract until 2027 and is not expected to leave the Portuguese team any soon. But anyway some of Europe's biggest teams are monitoring closely how he develops in Portugal.

Fernandez started his career at River Plate, before joining Benfica this Summer. He has represented Argentina at U20 and senior levels. The young midfielder's future appears to be in the Premier League, with two of England's Big Six interested in signing him. It remains to be seen whether he will accept any deal from any team and flee Benfica next season, but it seems likely that he will move to one of the Premier League clubs if he does well in the Portuguese capital.

The 21-year-old has been one of the standout performers in the Primeira Liga this season, making 18 appearances and scoring three goals, and giving two assists this season so far.  It is understood that Benfica is not interested in selling the midfielder, who is just beginning his story in Europe this summer. However, with the player's stock rising rapidly, it remains to be seen how long they will be able to keep him at the club.

Where will he end up?

The 21-year-old is one of the most highly sought-after young midfielders in Europe, and it is no surprise that he is attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world. Fernandez has all the qualities to be a success at the highest level, and it will be fascinating to see where he ends up next season. But we think is too soon to make a move for him since it's only been his first season at the European level.
