The award ceremony for The Best took place a couple of weeks ago and Lionel Messi, Lionel Scaloni, Emiliano Martínez and the fans of the Argentine team were awarded at the ceremony. Now, after what he experienced in Paris, the Albiceleste coach gave Carlo Ancelotti a lesson, who was nominated along with him and decided not to attend the event that was painted with those from the country.

Despite the fact that before The Best, Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach, confessed that both he and Scaloni and Pep Guardiola deserved the award, the Italian decided to disrespect the world champion after deciding not to travel to the event. However, the helmsman of the Argentine team downplayed the fact and gave the winner of the last Champions League a lesson in humility.

In a press conference prior to Argentina's friendlies against Panama and Curaçao, the coach recalled what was his The Best for the best coach of 2022 and commented: "I can't catch up with them (Ancelotti and Guardiola), they are coaches of many years. Grateful, because it is a vote of soccer people. I take it as it really is, we won the World Cup, but the other two coaches are big words", were the words of Scaloni.

Scaloni's words after the World Cup:

The manager referred to how the first meeting with his team after the World Cup in Qatar was like. “Hard to explain, when we got them together in the gym, we thanked them again for getting the title, but this continues. The Argentine team deserves to continue and now it is going to cost us more than ever. We need that energy to continue to be even higher,” he maintained.
