Real Madrid could receive financial compensation from FIFA due to Eduardo Camavinga's injury, which occurred during his participation with the French team. The player suffered a rupture of the external lateral ligament in his right knee, which will keep him off the field for approximately eight weeks.

The compensation comes from FIFA's club protection program, which compensates clubs when their players are injured during international matches. In this case, FIFA would pay Real Madrid 20,548 euros per day for each day that Camavinga cannot play, starting on December 12, the date on which the player's first 28 days of absence are exceeded.

This FIFA program establishes that clubs will be compensated if their professional players suffer injuries due to an accident while playing for national teams in international matches. The maximum compensation is up to 7,500,000 euros per player per accident, and the coverage covers from the moment the player travels until midnight on the day he ends his participation with the national team.

The total amount that Real Madrid will receive

In this case, the total amount to be received by Real Madrid, in the scenario of an eight-week absence for Camavinga, would exceed one million euros. This compensation provides financial relief to clubs affected by injuries to their players during international commitments.
