Manchester City is going through a difficult time that goes beyond sports. The team is being investigated for violating the league's financial rules. Faced with this situation, the team begins to look for alternatives, but the reality is that with Everton's sanction, things do not seem very hopeful and it could all be a matter of time.

Everton fans hired a small plane that flew over Manchester City's Etihad stadium while they were playing their match against Liverpool due to the dispute over the ten-point discount due to non-compliance with the profitability and sustainability rules of the English league.

“Premier League = Corrupt,” read the poster hired by Everton fans with two special acronyms: UTFT (Up the Fucking Toffes) and EFC (Everton Football Club). The banner caught the attention of Manchester City's Etihad stadium, one of the clubs investigated for non-compliance with financial fair play. The blue fans chose this match because, despite having 115 charges of irregularities, Manchester City has not yet been sanctioned. On the other hand, Everton fell to 14th position after their punishment, remaining with 4 points, and will have to do so to avoid getting into relegation problems.

The protests will continue

The protests are scheduled to continue this Sunday, when The Toffees host Manchester United. In the middle of the week, Everton fans raised around 27 thousand pounds to buy flags and banners that they will use in the stadium, as well as to pay for the plane they used this Saturday.
