Carlo Ancelotti made his extension with Real Madrid official. The Italian coach was placed in an important way as one of the candidate coaches to lead Brazil for the 2024 Copa América and later in the 2026 World Cup. However, things did not go in the best possible way and his link with Real Madrid was extended for 3 more years.

The Brazilian National Team felt a blow with the renewal of Carlo Ancelotti with Real Madrid and now was left without clear options to replace Tité. Fernando Diniz will continue as coach of the Canarinha until the Copa América and there are not many options to take the job in the South American team with the 2026 World Cup in mind.

The current Fluminense coach has a contract until June and it is estimated that he will direct the 2024 Copa America in the United States, however there are also possibilities that he will continue leading the team.

The options that the Brazilian National Team handles

The name of Abel Ferreira, coach of Palmeiras, is liked in the Brazilian Football Confederation but there is a problem due to the current contract with the São Paulo club and he would have chosen to continue in the true institution. Jorge Jesus, former coach of Palmeiras and current coach of Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, is another of those targeted to lead Brazil, although his big problem is the multimillion-dollar link that unites him to the Arab team. José Mourinho was always in the orbit of the Brazilian National Team and, according to Marca, 'Mou' would have passed up offers to receive one from the South Americans. However, the coach has always been very committed to Roma.
