Joao Felix has just arrived to Barcelona to be one of their top reinforcements in the new season of La Liga EA Sports. He debuted in today’s match against Betis, where the Blaugrana team made an outstanding performance by winning the match 5-0, the first goal made by their new acquisition, Joao Felix.

Joao started with the right foot his career with Barcelona FC, opening the score against Betis with a solo act versus all Betis’s defenders, and then giving an assist to Robert Lewandoski to score the second goal of the match.

Xavi Hernandez’s team has given a masterclass to Betis on how to play football, as the Blaugranas won the match 5-0. The first score made by Joao Felix is a great surprise for Xavi, as he now has a defender to be trusted and that can score goals.

The second point came by the foot of Lewandoski with Felix assist in the 32’;  Ferran Torres made the third (62'), right next Raphinha (66') would shoot to score the fourth and Joao Cancelo (81') scored the definitive point of the match.

What's next for Barcelona?

Joao Felix signing has been called as one of the most valuables during the summer window market and with today's overwhelming win over Betis proves it, as the eight million euros Barcelona had to paid are already giving possitive points to Xavi's team.

Very happy to play as a starter again, I haven't done it for a long time. The feelings are very good, it is easy to play in this team and continue like this. When you have a good structure, and the ball circulates quickly, you open the spaces and that's where the goals appear”, Joao Felix said in an interview after Barcelona's victory.

Barcelona, with five consecutive wins is now on the top of La Liga's standings, with Real Madrid trying to retake the first place. The next stop for Joao's Felix new team will be against Royal Antwerp for their debut at the UEFA's Champions League on Tuesday September 19th; the next La Liga's date is versus Celta Vigo on September 23rd; next up the Blaugrana will visit Mallorca on the 26th and for the eight week they will be facing Sevilla.
