In the last five years, Argentine Franco Jara was one of the best strikers in Mexican soccer. After scoring more than 50 goals for Pachuca, Dallas FC decided to sign him to replace Zdeněk Ondrašek, who went to play in the Czech Republic. Since his debut in Dallas, Jara has scored two goals (Sporting Kansas City and Houston) and has shown to quickly settle into the team led by Luchi Gonzalez.

With the former San Lorenzo de Almagro, Benfica and Olympiakos striker in attendance, Dallas FC looks like they will have no offense in trouble for a long time. The American franchise acquired the Argentine after he arrived free from Pachuca. In his rookie season, he will be under pressure to keep scoring goals and surpass what Ondrašek accomplished in his two years in Dallas.

With Franco Jara at the forefront, Dallas FC hopes to qualify for the playoffs of the 2020 MLS season, something it has been achieving for two consecutive seasons. Can Dallas FC be crowned for the first time in its MLS history with Franco Jara on offense?
