There are had been plenty of professional soccer players during the history, but some of them marked an era. It has always been discussed who has been the most talented player in soccer history. Pele, Diego Armando Maradona and Lionel Messi seem to be the best candidates in that dispute.

With Pele and Messi still alive, Maradona was the first one of the three legends to die. At the age of 60 the Argentinian star lost his life after suffering several health issues. He was hospitalized some weeks ago and finally on November 25 he died in his house in Tigre, Buenos Aires.

Paying tribute to him, FIFA posted an image on their social media that was seen by many fans as a wink for him being the best player ever. Maradona appears in the image seated in a throne with a ball in his right hand, as if he was the king of soccer, a nickname mostly used for Pelé.
