If a soccer fan is asked what his thoughts are on MLS, the vast majority say that it is a growing league, in which the players "are going to make their fortune". However, the reality is too far from this thought as the level of competition in MLS is one of the best on the continent.

Last year, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Inter Miami announced the signing of Gonzalo Higuaín. The Argentine striker was leaving Juventus to reach the new franchise of the American competition and a great stir was generated, since Pipita is one of the best players in recent years.

“In Europe I couldn't find serenity outside of football, and (Gianluigi) Buffon told me that when he no longer felt the fire inside, it would be time to change. I thought he would come here and play with a cigarette in his mouth and he is not; It's difficult”, the striker confessed in an interview with Bobo TV.

Gonzalo Higuaín played for River Plate, Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus and Chelsea, before arriving at Inter Miami. With different leagues disputed, Higuaín stated that "MLS is a tough league. It is similar to Italian football. In Spain and England it is easier to do well, while in Italy, if you don't know the league, you suffer more. Over the years, I have become a more complete player: the forward that I like is the one who also assists”.

Since his arrival in MLS, Pipita Higuaín has accumulated 5 goals in 16 games. His team has an uneven gait: it ranks eighth in the Eastern Conference, with two wins, four draws and one loss.

“I was lucky enough to play with both of them. They're at such a high level that you have to adapt to them to serve them. With Messi and Ronaldo next door you have at least 3 or 4 goal situations per game if you are smart and understand them. It was a privilege for me”, he commented.
