Pachuca has yet to set alarm bells ringing, but Guillermo Almada's team seems to have "deflated" in recent matches, as they have not won since Date 2 and since then have only managed to pick up two points.

Another element to work on will be discipline, as in two of the last three games they have been down a player and, as a result, Óscar Murillo will not be in the squad after being sent off against Guadalajara.

Meanwhile, after the loss on the first match day, the universitarios have got back on track and have won five consecutive games and, during this streak, have only allowed two goals against.

However, for this match they will have some absences due to the fact that both Jordy Caicedo and Juan Pablo Vigón were sent off against the Gallos, so Miguel Herrera will have to make changes to the starting lineup.

Reinforced player Vladimir Loroña was called up for the first time and could make his debut with the team. Loroña arrived to the team at the beginning of the current tournament, but tested positive for COVID-19 upon his arrival in Monterrey and later got fit after a knee injury he sustained at Xolos before being transferred.

Tigres' lineup to face Pachuca

Coach Miguel Herrera confirmed the starting XI for the match at the Hidalgo Stadium against the Tuzos, where he maintains the XI and the line of five in the last zone.

The lineup will be: Nahuel Guzmán, Igor Lichnovsky, Guido Pizarro, Diego Reyes, Javier Aquino, Jesús Angulo, Rafael Carioca, Sebastián Córdova, Raymundo Fulgencio, Nicolás López and André-Pierre Gignac.

Florian Thauvin, Yeferson Soteldo and Luis Rodríguez will miss out due to injury, while Jordy Caicedo and Juan Pablo Vigón are suspended.
