Guillermo Ochoa lives a new stage in his career, the goalkeeper is happy at Salernitana and now he has just hit his former team, Club América, because he now plays in Europe.

Ochoa acknowledged in an interview for Marca that he was surprised that América had not made him an important offer to renew and that is why he agreed to leave the team to play in the Italian League. A hard blow for the Eagles.

"I was in the best team in Mexico, and in the only one that could be. Above there, there is no more. The World Cup came, and the club had not finished giving me a proposal to continue and I had to see my future. I could not waiting so long. And after the World Cup, I had to explore other options," said Guillermo Ochoa.

Guillermo Ochoa is happy about this new challenge in his career, he has played seven games with Salerinitana but the player recognized that his life has changed completely. Besides, in Mexico he did not feel free.

Ochoa is happy in Italy

"In Italy my life has changed in everything. Here everything is less aggressive than in Mexico, and it is easier for me to go out for a coffee, to eat or go to the supermarket. I gain in quality of life being outside of Mexico," said Guillermo Ochoa.
