The astounding player that will join Club América after Solari’s request
Solari is still looking for a right-winger to complete the squad and is looking outside Liga MX to fill that spot.
Club América is still looking to add a couple more players to the squad prior the start of Clausura 2022, and are looking specifically for a striker that comes outside of Liga MX, hence the reason they sent Leo Suárez to Santos.

With a spot for a non-mexican player still open in América’s roster, Solari has requested a right-winger from La Liga, a player the team already had some approaches to during the summer transfer window and now has become a priority.
Iván Alejo is the chosen one to join Solari’s squad, after the coach requested his acquisition. The 26-year old Spanish right-winger currently plays for La Liga side Cádiz FC, where he’s played only six games this season and is yet to score his first goal.

Two negotiations that didn’t work for the team
Before reaching the Spanish right-winger, América also tried to sign two South American players that could fill the same spot as Alejo. But the additions of Agustín Canobbio and Brian Ocampo didn’t work in América’s way, as the former one renewed with his current team, and the latter is had an offer, but the negotiations are on hold.
