Chivas is going through an extremely complicated moment in the Apertura 2022 due to the lack of goals it has experienced at the start of the tournament, being the only team in the entire Liga Mx that has not been able to score a single goal after two match-days, which is why coach Ricardo Cadena prepared a surprise from the call-up list for the match against Santos.

Chivas has no choice but to win in Torreón. For this reason, Cadena rehearsed some variations during the week to help his team show a better face on the field and thus defeat Santos Laguna this Saturday night in Torreón, in the match-day 3 of the Apertura 2022.

One such possibility is an element that, for the first time this season, has been included in the list of 22 players who will make the trip to La Comarca.

Guadalajara will not be able to rely on the presence of Santiago Ormeño, who is only awaiting the signing of his contract to be fully integrated into the Guadalajara discipline; however, the Rebaño coach will be able to count on Isaác Brizuela to make his debut in the tournament in Torreón.

Chivas giving the youth players a chance

In addition to the addition of Brizuela, the coach decided to maintain his vote of confidence in the youth academy and called up elements such as Sebastián Pérez Bouquet, José Tepa González and Gilberto García, who he used last week in the defeat suffered against Atlético de San Luis.
