Chivas de Guadalajara: What are its upcoming games?

In the first match of this Round, Mazatlán FC pulled off a surprise by defeating the champion, Atlas at their home, the Jalisco Stadium, with a score of 1-2.

With a brace by Gonzalo Sosa for the Cañoneros and a goal by Julio Furch for the Zorros, the match ended up placing Atlas in the number 5 position in the tournament.

Thus, the Argentine Diego Cocca's club is left without a direct pass to the Liguilla, at least for the moment, but can still access it through reclassification, or if Monterrey and Puebla fail in their next matches.

The Mexican league standings are as follows

Tigres, Puebla, and Monterrey are still in the hunt for the lead in Liga MX 2022, trying to catch up with Pachuca, which has been at the top of the tournament since the last round,

In Round 12, Tigres had achieved the feat of knocking Los Tuzos down to second place, but in a very dramatic event, the two clubs met in the last Round.

And in that Round, the Tuzos not only defeated Tigres but also regained their throne at the top of Liga MX 2022. Now, they face Juárez, one of the worst clubs in the tournament.

Therefore, they should have no problems in retaining the tournament lead, although as was seen in the Atlas vs Mazatlan match, there are no invincible teams in Liga MX 2022.

Who is the boss in Liga MX 2022?

So far, the leader is Pachuca, with 29 points has practically assured its place in the Liguilla of Mexican soccer, although it should not be distracted by the fact that not only Tigres but also Puebla and Monterrey are hunting it down.

With 29, 23, and 22 points respectively, these three teams, together with Pachuca, are assured of a place in the Liguilla, but they must not lose any of their next matches or the same thing will happen to them as to Atlas.

Which clubs would play in the reclassification?

So far, Atlas, Cruz Azul, León, Toluca, Atlético San Luis, Pumas UNAM, Club América and Tijuana are the clubs that have the right to play in the reclassification.

On the other hand, Santos Laguna, Chivas, Necaxa, Querétaro, Mazatlán, and Juárez are so far without the right to play in the reclassification, unless something dramatic happens to the teams that occupy places 5 to 12 in Liga MX 2022.
