Marco Fabián could reinforce any club squad for the Liga MX. Bravos de Juárez terminated his contract, therefore, the Guadalajara native has become an option for Mexican teams. In the 2021 Apertura, the player did not play a single minute under Ferreti´s orders, as he remained inactive. Now, the soccer player is asking for another opportunity to return to Mexican soccer.

The former Chivas de Guadalajara player appeared on 'La Última Palabra' and said that for now, he is not interested in securing a good contract, as he is committed to returning to the pitch.

Marco Fabian´s words

"I would totally sacrifice the economic part. That's where my desire to return to soccer comes in. I have been in talks with several teams”.

The commitment that I have to return to play is a commitment in all aspects. Being a free player is a privilege I have never had before in my career. Today I am totally free, they don't have to pay a cent for me and the salary situation is not my priority today. I put money aside," said the former Bravos de Juárez player.

Fabián de la Mora, Olympic champion at London 2012, said that this last campaign has allowed him to re-evaluate his time as a player, which is why he decided to step back from public life.

"I disappeared from the social networks these six months, reflecting on many things because since my debut I had not stopped playing at any time, but everything happens for a reason and today I'm here," he added.

The Mexican also assured that he has put indiscipline behind him, for which he pledged that he will not be mentioned again in off-field matters. "He is a different Marco Fabián in his way of thinking and working."

“It is not the time to think about retirement”

The 32-year-old offensive player said that for now, he does not have plans to retire, noting that he has been approached by different teams to participate in the 2022 Clausura.

"If I retire or if I continue playing soccer, Marco will be here for a while. I come with a lot of desire, to give everything on the pitch, whatever I have ahead of me.  Today I am close, I am in talks, let's hope that you can see Marco Fabián again enjoying what I like to do the most, which is to play soccer".
