With three rounds of the Clausura 2022 regular phase remaining, América, Chivas, Cruz Azul, and Pumas, considered the big four in Liga MX, are in playoff positions, while Tigres and Pachuca have already qualified directly for the quarterfinals.

At the top of the table, the only teams that have secured their place in the playoffs are Tigres, the leader and coached by Miguel Herrera, and Pachuca, coached by Guillermo Almada, both with 32 points.

Puebla and Monterrey are the other two teams fighting to advance directly to the quarterfinals, without having to make a stopover in the playoffs. In the case of La Franja, they have almost assured their place among the top 12.

Those who still have hope are Atlético de San Luis, Santos, and Tijuana, who are putting pressure on the playoff teams, as they have a chance of finishing among the top 12 in the regular phase.

Bravos de Juárez are on the verge of elimination, as they have only eight points and the most they could score is 17 points. Mazatlán and Gallos Blancos are far from the playoffs, but still have the illusion of qualifying.

Cruz Azul, Atlas, Pumas, and América are still fighting to avoid the playoff zone, as they have a chance of making it into the top four of the Clausura 2022.

With three matches remaining, Cruz Azul, América, Chivas, and Pumas are in the playoff phase, with ample possibilities of facing each other for a direct ticket to the quarterfinals, as is the case of La Máquina and El Rebaño, who are currently facing each other in that stage.
