After Bravos finished the season at the bottom of the table, not only of Clausura 2022 but of the entire 2021-22 Liga MX season, they only earned 27 points over 34 games, Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti decided to part ways with Bravos.

Although he presented his resignation letter multiple times, the first time was on Apertura 2021 according to reports, Bravos management decided to back him up and his project, requesting for him to finish at least the season until taking a decision.

But after the crushing 4-0 on their last game of Clausura 2022 against Club Querétaro, who are still uncertain of their future, “El Tuca” Ferretti decided to say goodbye to the players and the staff, as he knew he was not going to continue for another season.

On Wednesday morning, he had a meeting with Juárez management and both parties agreed to part ways, and Bravos now hate to start looking for a way to mend the way of what has become a team that failed to establish in Liga MX repeatedly.

What’s in store for Ferretti?

Once “Tuca” Ferretti parted ways with Tigres after 10 years coaching Los Felinos, it didn’t take him long before finding a new job, as they convinced him with the idea of establishing a long-term project that could turn as successful as the one that he had with Tigres.

Now that that project didn’t find the foundation needed, Ferretti doesn’t plan on pausing his career and is looking to establish a new one elsewhere, and according to reports from W Deportes, Cruz Azul already are in conversations with him.

La Máquina will part ways with Juan Reynoso once Clausura 2022 is over for them, as the irregular results costed them the elimination from CONCACAF Champions League and the direct ticket to Liguilla, as they now will face Club Necaxa in Repechaje.

What will be Ferretti’s salary in Cruz Azul?

“Tuca” Ferretti is looking to coach a team where he has freedom to decided what to do and how to do it, something that he’d be able to do in Cruz Azul, only of La Máquina is willing to pay him $2 million per season, the salary he had in FC Juárez.
