Just when the game was starting, Salvador Reyes crossed a ball that left out of the play Club Puebla’s goalkeeper Antony Silva to open the score with just 10 seconds on the board.

Everything seemed to be working for the Coapa team, as their game style is based in scoring first and then defend the advantage. They looked comfortable on the pitch even if Club Puebla had the possession of the ball.

Things changed for Solari’s squad when, at 31’, Solari was sent off after a foul from Roger Martínez over MAxi Araújo. América’s coach lose his mind and run across the field to face the referee, who didn’t hesitate to hand Solari the red card and book Martínez.

Just three minutes later, Martínez kicked Juan Pablo Segovia, which earned him a second yellow card and he got sent off to join his coach on the dressing room. Puebla gained momentum and was able to score the goal that meant a partial draw, at 38’ from the feet of Araújo.

The second half was all for Puebla, who tried to break the tie before the game ended, and had multiple chances of doing it, but a lack of good aim and Guillermo Ochoa’s reflexes prevent Los Camoteros to win the game. América had a chance of taking home the three points, when at 85’ “Chava” Reyes had one last chance as he faced Silva alone, but his shoot was wide open.
