What the Rebaño needs to reach the semifinals

For this all-important match, Ricardo Cadena's Chivas only need to have one thing on their minds: beat Atlas by 2 goals or more, meaning that the score must end 2-0, 3-1, 4-2, and so on to advance to the semifinal.

And for no reason should the match end in a draw or with a 1-0 win for the Rebaño Sagrado, or any other result that is less than a 2-goal advantage for Alexis Vega's club.

Because if this happens, Atlas will be the team that advances to the semifinal of the tournament, as it finished better positioned than Chivas in the general classification since the Zorros finished in 3rd place in the competition.

On the other hand, Club Deportivo Guadalajara finished the tournament in 6th place, which is why they had to play a reclassification match against Pumas UNAM, a club they eliminated with a score of 4-1.

But it is this same difference in places in the general classification that means that, if Chivas does not beat Atlas by 2 goals or more, it will be the Zorros who advance to the next stage of the tournament.
