Roger Federer and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the greatest athletes of all time. And how can it be otherwise, they share similar tastes in the collection of luxury sports cars
Roger Federer's cars
Considering that he is one of the best tennis players of all time and that as such he has amassed a fortune, it is logical that he has a few tastes. In this case, the great Swiss tennis player, Roger Federer, is a fan of cars and in his garage he has some of the most exclusive models in the world.
To begin with, we must say that Roger has an agreement with Mercedes-Benz, so the athlete is one of the faces of the brand to promote his cars. One of the clauses of the contract is that the player must receive a car from the brand every six months.
Inside his personal garage Roger Federer treasures several models of the brand and among the most prominent are a CLS 450 and an exclusive yellow SLR. But that's not all, within this collection the player has the CLS 63 AMG as one of his favorites.
This is an exclusive and personalized version by the player that was transformed into a super exclusive car that is priced at about 456 thousand euros. It has a powerful V8 engine AND the AMG Speedshit box that allow it to reach the self-limited 250 km / h, since the car could go much faster, exceeding 300.
But not all are Mercedes in Roger's life, another of his possessions is a beautiful Range Rover Sport SVR, one of the most spectacular and luxurious 4 × 4 in the world, which can be manufactured to suit the customer.
Cristiano Ronaldo's cars
Cristiano Ronaldo visited the Ferrari factory in Maranello in recent weeks. According to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, the footballer has bought a Ferrari Monza, an exclusive model that can only be purchased by invitation. It was recently chosen the most beautiful car in history based on an objective criterion: its proportions are the closest to the ideal of the golden ratio.
It is not news that Cristiano Ronaldo likes expensive cars. In the garage of the Portuguese footballer there are or have been models of Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, Rolls-Royce and, of course, Ferrari. A dazzling collection to which the exclusive Ferrari Monza will now be added.
Roger Federer retired from Roland Garros
Roger Federer announced this Sunday that he will not appear to play the round of 16 match at Roland Garros against Italian Matteo Berrettini due to accumulated physical wear and tear.
"After two knee surgeries and more than a year of rehabilitation, it's important that I listen to my body and make sure not to push myself too hard on my way to recovery," Federer said in a text posted on his official networks. "I'm happy with my three wins. There is nothing better than the feeling of being back on the slopes," added the Swiss, who starred in a tough three-and-a-half-hour match against German Dominik Koepfer in the previous round.
Federer, current number eight in the ATP ranking, was due to play this Monday against Italian Matteo Berrettini for the round of 16. After defeating Koepfer, the Swiss had questioned his presence in the French Grand Slam and finally decided to get off to arrive in the best physical condition at Wimbledon.
