Iker Casillas is going through turbulent times and they have nothing to do with his professional career. The former goalkeeper announced some time ago the separation from him and subsequent divorce from the journalist Sara Carbonero, something that brought him a great stir on a personal level. The world champion in 2010 stopped being part of the sports pages and began to see his name written in the news related to the spectacle and the scandals.

In recent days, there were two rumors that ended up filling Casillas' patience. The first refers to the alleged multiple infidelities of him and punctually an alleged parallel relationship that he would have sustained during his last two years of marriage with Carbonero. The other refers to the fact that he had to go to a hospital because of chest pain. It should be noted that in 2019 he suffered a heart attack during training with Porto, an episode that put an end to his professional career on the field of play.

Before these versions that began to run in the press, the former player of Real Madrid and the Spanish team published a hard letter on social networks from him. He not only urged the media to stop talking about his personal life, but also warned that he will initiate lawsuits against those who continue to spread these types of rumors.

“The media harassment to which both my family and I personally are being subjected is causing us irreparable damage. I would like to emphasize that our separation was amicable and in the statement that my wife and I issued, we ask for respect for her, for my children and for me. Unfortunately, it is not taking place, which is reflected in permanent harassment”, said Casillas.

Regarding his recent admission to a hospital, he clarified: "Various magazines have spread news of my state of health, suggesting that I had suffered a relapse of the disease that I overcame, when it was a simple allergy attack". Finally, he pointed out: "I insist on all the assertions and false information that are being generated about me, they will have to be proven in the coming months in the corresponding Courts of Justice".
