What we reported this Wednesday was confirmed: Zinedine Zidane will not continue at Real Madrid for next season. On Thursday morning, the Spanish club issued a short press release announcing the Frenchman's departure as coach. At the time of him, being one of the best coaches today, he already has four chances to continue his career.

“Real Madrid CF announces that Zinedine Zidane has decided to end his current stage as coach of our club. It's now time to respect his decision and show our gratitude for his professionalism, dedication and passion in all these years, and for what he represents his figure for Real Madrid”, said the Madrid team in a statement.

Based on triumphs and good results, especially during his first stage as a merengue coach, he positioned himself as one of the most sought-after coaches in the world. Zizou has an indelible mark on his resume that classifies him as one of the best, having won three consecutive Champions League with the Madrid institution.

A title that's elusive to several teams, including Juventus and PSG, whose main purpose is to raise the Orejona. While the Italian side has not succeeded for 24 years, despite having been reinforced with top-level players, the French want to have it in their windows after reaching the final last season and losing to Bayern Munich.

That is why Vecchia Signora's one of the main targets regarding the future of Zidane, also added to the Frenchman's past as a player in that institution where he remained from 1996 to 2001 (the year in which he signed for the Real Madrid). With the recent hiring of Mauricio Pochettino, the Paris team could hope to have a benchmark from the country at the helm.

The Blue team is another possible destination for the historic midfielder, despite the good work being done by Didier Deschamps, who won the last World Cup in Russia (2018). With the incorporation of Benzema to the squad after five years, a hypothetical arrival on the bench could serve as a reunion between the striker and the coach after having won everything at Real Madrid.

The other possibility is that he decides to take a sabbatical again as he did during his first exit from the white box after winning the thirteenth European Cup in Kiev in 2018, however, according to the COPE chain, this would not be the most concrete option since "he has communicated to the players that next season his intention is to train."
