While the rumors grow that Jose Mourinho could soon reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr, the Portuguese coach could earn around $5.5 million per season. Al Nassr's current coach, Luis Castro, reportedly earns that amount per season with Ronaldo's team in Saudi Arabia. Mourinho's last job was with AS Roma in the Serie A, where he earned $12.5 million. Either he will earn $5.5 million or a slight increase with a price range of $6 to $9 million per season.

Mourinho was sacked earlier this year with Roma after inconsistent results. Mourinho has said in the past that he wants to coach next season. The 'Special One' also hinted that he would be open to coach in the Saudi Pro League. He even said that his future would be there during his days at AS Roma. Mourinho said, "I will go to Saudi Arabia in some free time... but I am convinced I will work there. I don’t know when, but I am pretty sure of it. I am committed to my work with AS Roma, and I want to give everything to the club until the last day."

In an interview with Fabrizio Romano, Mourinho spoke about Saudi Arabia and how Ronaldo was influential for stars to be willing to join the Saudi Pro League. Mourinho said, "Cristiano opened the door in terms of believing that it is possible to be there and live there, to enjoy the development of a country that wants to be a different country with football that has a passion but is not developed." When asked if he would coach a Saudi Pro League, Mourinho said, "If you ask me in the future… never say never."

Jose Mourinho said he didn't need to coach Cristiano

Mourinho was asked what it was like coaching Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid since it was the only time they were together. Mourinho praised the Portuguese striker by saying that he didn't need coaching. Ronaldo and Mourinho were together for three seasons at Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013.
