Johan Gómez, the young American star, will he continue to play for the US National Team? Here is your decision

The young American who plays for Portugal's Porto B made a decision about his future with the American soccer team. Who will he play for?

The 19-year-old American midfielder spoke on the KeepingItSimple podcast and expressed his decision about which team will be his choice in the future: the American or the Mexican. For now, the 19-year-old has in mind to continue responding to the national team of the 'Stars and Stripes' that will be preparing to reach the next U-20 World Cup, however, the player trained at the FC Dallas academy since 2013, does not rule out testing with the Mexican National Team

Gómez let it be known in an interview for the KeepingItSimple podcast, where the playmaker accepted that at some point he could wear the tricolor jersey, but for the moment his mind is with the United States. The player said that despite the rumors that have been said about his future, he wants to see what happens in the U-20 world cup to make a decision.

The midfielder has played for Porto B in Portugal since this 2020/21 season as he previously played the matches played by Porto U-19. Previously, the American played for the Dallas FC academy and was on loan for a season at North Texas SC. With the American youth team he played two games and scored a goal.
