Bayern Munich announced that, together with the city of Munich, they will be giving the possibility of being vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19) at their stadium, the Allianz Arena. This will be the day they play a preseason friendly and the day of the official presentation of the team.

Bayern Munich will face Borussia Mönchengladbach on Wednesday, July 28, and will host the “Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation” on August 4. On both days there will be a mobile vaccination unit on the esplanade of the club's stadium. The only requirement is to be over 18 years old on the day of the friendly duel; While, in the official presentation, will be vaccinate people from 12 years.

The vice president of the Bavarian team's board of directors said they are very happy that FC Bayern can support the vaccination offer of the city of Munich. "It is fantastic that this very difficult option is available to our fans and we hope that many will make use of this offer."
