As reported by the German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich has reached an agreement with Joshua Kimmich to renew his contract until the summer of 2026, extending his contract for three more years. The only thing missing is the player's signature to make the contract extension official.

The Bavarian Giant, current Bundesliga champion, has offered a contract of 20 million euros gross per season to the German midfielder, making him the second highest paid player in the squad, surpassing Thomas Müller and only behind the main star of the team, Robert Lewandowski.

Joshua Kimmich is one of the most important players on the team since his arrival. His individual performance has grown with the passing of the season, to the point of being considered one of the best players in the world in his position. A talent that has dominated the midfield in Europe for several seasons.

Bayern Munich did not want the player to enter his last year of contract and another David Alaba case to occur, taking into account that several large teams have shown interest in taking over his services in various markets. And an offer could come that would seduce the German and terminate his contract to go to another club for free.
