CR7 was given a week off with his family before he joined the camp of the Portugal national team. Portugal will play a friendly match against Croatia on Saturday, but it is unlikely that Ronaldo will play in the match. Fans are questioning his commitment to the team since Real Madrid players are already training with their national teams. Two players from the Champions League winners, Toni Kroos and Antonio Rudiger, arrived at the camp of the German national team. Germany will play a friendly match against Greece tomorrow as their last preparation match of the EUROS 2024.

Ronaldo’s last game was in the King’s Cup Final against Al Hilal last week, on May 31st, which was a Friday. Toni Kroos and Antonio Rudiger played in the Champions League final for Real Madrid against Borussia Dortmund last Saturday, June 1st. This is the big complaint fans have since Ronaldo played a day before Kroos and Rudiger, yet the Real Madrid players arrived at their national teams first, then the Portuguese striker with his national team.

Ronaldo is expected to be back for the last friendly match Portugal has before the EUROS, which is against Ireland on June 11th. All of the friendly matches are in Portugal, and the game against Ireland will be at the Estadio Municipal de Aveiro. Ronaldo is spending time with his family at the Red Sea Project resort in Saudi Arabia.

Portugal’s EUROS 2024

Portugal will be playing in Group F, where they will play against the Czech Republic, Georgia, and Turkey. Portugal’s first game of the tournament will be against the Czech Republic on June 18th at the Red Bull Arena Leipzig. Their second group stage match will be against Turkey on June 22nd at the Signal Iduna Park. Their final group stage match will be against Georgia on June 26th at the Veltins Arena.
