After the endless rumors about his departure, the Brazilian star Neymar last week renewed his relationship for three seasons, until 2025, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), a club he arrived in 2017 becoming the most expensive signing in history of soccer: USD 270 million. Despite his high level, the Brazilian has not been able to fulfill his goal of winning the Champions League and the leaders have promised to hire reinforcements that are equal to such a goal.

According to the Sport site, there were two reasons why the former Barcelona chose to continue. The first is that PSG is one of the few clubs that can commit to paying him a salary of more than USD 30 million per year. The other is the signings that they assured him.

Both reinforcements are scheduled for June of this year and would arrive as free agents. The great dream is that of Lionel Messi, who has not yet renewed his link with the Catalan team and is also sought by Manchester City. The Argentine star shared a team with Ney at Barcelona between 2013 and 2017, when together with Luis Suárez they formed one of the best offensive tridents in history and won the 2015 Champions League.

The other signing is Sergio Ramos, who will not remain at Real Madrid at the end of this season and will seek luck elsewhere. Apparently the future of the defender is in Paris, despite the fact that on Tuesday Mauricio Pochettino, PSG coach, avoided talking about his arrival: “I'm not going to answer that question because anything I say will be misinterpreted and taken out of context, I don't want to that no counterproductive situation is taken for my club”.

With the renewals already signed by Keylor Navas and Ángel Di María, the board is now committed to obtaining these reinforcements and closing the extension of the Kylian Mbappé contract, whose expiration date is in June 2022 and they have not yet been able to reach an agreement.
