The Concachampions is a tournament played by the teams from Central and North America and the Liga MX or the MLS always win. And in the 2020-2021 edition of the international tournament, the eight teams that reached the quarterfinals are from the aforementioned championships. This was determined after the last round of 16 matches, played on Thursday night.

Columbus Crew, from the United States, with Argentines Lucas Zelarrayán and Milton Valenzuela, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Champions League, by beating Real Estelí, from Nicaragua, by 1 to 0.
