Eddy Reynoso, currently working as a trainer of the best pound-by-pound boxer in the world, Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez, commented during an interview for a YouTube channel that he "would receive Conor McGregor with open arms at his own gym whenever he wants to come to train and learn".

During the interview for Little Giant Boxing -name of the YouTube channel-, Reynoso also showed appreciation and surprise to the boxing quality he had seen in the Irish former UFC champion, some of what Conor had previosly showed in the famous combat against the legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"When he lost to Mayweather, I was still surprised because he is really good at counter-attacking as well as with his leg and upper-body movement. I also believe he has a lot of agility and I definitely believe he could do an amazing job if he decided to be a boxer", Reynoso highlited.

As crazy as it may sounds, after Eddy Reynoso's words it would not be surprising to see the Irish Notorious training at the gym where the Mexican superstar, Canelo Álvarez also prepares himself for the fight. "We definitely can back him (McGregor) up so he can improve his hitting skills as well as his defence", Reynoso stated.

Not the best time for McGregor

Conor McGregor is not enjoying the most successful time of his career right now. After becoming the first UFC fighter to obtain two titles in two different categories at the same time, the Irish is far from disputing the title again. His last fight was against Dustin Poirier in January and it ended with a clear loss, even though it is rumoured there could exist a re-match soon.
