How many times has Pep Guardiola pointed his eyes to young stars? Countless. The Spanish coach has always intented to populate Manchester City with new talents, and backed by City Group corporation, there always have been young soccer players moving to England welcomed by the club and then loaned and developed.

One of the latest acquisitions was Argentina’s Nahuel Bustos. The 23-year-old playmaker from Talleres was bought by the group and loaned to Girona, with a possible long-term future in Manchester City. But since Pep Guardiola is always on the hunt for more talent, and the corporation looking for new deals, the tour is not over.

Now, Manchester City is in a close approach to two 17-year-old jewels in Brazil. They both play for Rio de Janeiro side Fluminense, one of the top clubs in the country. As reported by GloboEsporte and UOL Esporte over there, the English giants are about to agree the deal to sign Kayky and Metinho for €10 million ($12.1 million) and €5 million ($6.05 million) respectively. Depending on their future, the payment could duplicate to €30 million (or $24.2 million).

Kayky is a forward, and Metinho is a midfielder who was named by The Guardian among the Top 50 Under 17 players in the world. Both could move to Manchester in 2022. The first one would be joining the senior squad directly, while the latter one could be signed and loaned to French Second Division’s Troyes.
