Not long ago Karla Mora went through one of the most difficult experiences of her life: the death threats that followers of the Mexican national soccer team made to her through private messages on Instagram.

The events occurred in November 2021 when Mexico was playing its last matches of the year in the World Cup Qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. 

In those matches, the Mexican team as a whole failed to perform. However, some fans of the national team, instead of addressing their grievances in a healthy way to the players through their social networks, crossed a line. 

And that line is that of the family; Karla Mora, revealed to the Mexican media through her Instagram account, that she had received threats. 

And not just any kind, but death threats, torture and sexual violations against her and her entire family, as a way to punish the Mexican goalkeeper for the performances he had in the match against the United States and Canada during the qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. 

While the anger is understandable, to mess with a player's family is reprehensible.

Through her Instagram stories, the model denounced the threats she had received and also took the opportunity to send a very important message to fans angry with the performance of the Mexican national soccer team.
