Club America wants to get rid of him, but his demands are so high that nobody wants him

He was signed to make a revolution in Liga MX after playing in so many different places at a young age. But he never lived up to the expectations and, with his high wages, Club America put him in the transfer list and Santiago Solari will not play him. The problem is, he will not accept any offers that are not extremely high.

And that is a problem for the club that wants to get rid of him as soon as possible. The clubs that made offers for him just exited negotiation when this player told his demands, because meeting them will not be easy for a team that would benefit with someone with his quality.

The demands Roger Martinez has for leaving Club America consist of two million dollar per year, a house and a car. And the clubs that can afford him would not try to sign him because his performances in Liga MX have not been good. So if he does not give in, the Aguilas will be losing lots of money on someone who never plays.

Martinez has featured in 77 matches and scored just 17 goals after his arrival from Villarreal in June 2018, when his current club paid eight and a half million euro. The board knows that a fee like that would be impossible to recover, because his current market value is less than the half of that, but at least they will try to stop paying that high salary.
