Sebastián Córdova lives a magnificent present after his remarkable performance in the National Classic, a match in which he scored the third goal for America to beat Chivas on a good night. The Aguilas youth squad scored goal 6000 in the club's history. After the game, Córdova had to meet with the six U23 selected from the Sacred Rebaño to go together to the concentration of the national team. The youths begin this week the fight for a ticket to the Olympic Games. The Aguilas player revealed in an interview with Azteca Deportes that he gets along well with the rojiblancos.

"We joked and for example, when we left the stadium I was the only one and I was waiting there at six in a truck and they told me: 'no, get down, what are you doing here?' We joke in that sense, it is changing the chip and here we get along well ”, mentioned the Mexican midfielder.

Chivas is the base of the Jaime Lozano Selection. Alejandro Mayorga, Gilberto Sepúlveda, Jesús Angulo, Uriel Antuna, Alexis Vega and José Juan Macías were summoned. From America, only Córdova was summoned to the pre-Olympic and mentioned that he has full confidence that his teammates will leave behind what happened in the Classical and will focus on giving their best football at the service of the selected team.

“Each person must work personally, we are professionals and each one has to know that the game is over, the next day you have to be concentrated here in the National Team and with the goals that we have together, if one is not well, it is You are going to notice ”reflected the native of Aguascalientes.

The Mexican National Team will debut on Thursday in the Pre-Olympic against the Dominican Republic at the Jalisco Stadium. Mexico also shares a sector with the United States and Costa Rica. The top two of the group advance to the semifinals where they will search for tickets to the Olympics.
