In numerous opportunities, Zlatan ibrahimovic has confessed that the greatest idol of his youth was Ronaldo Nazario, "The Fenomenum". Even the Swede considers the Brazilian to be the best player in history, above Pelé, Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Meanwhile, among the assets, Ibra has shown a lot of admiration and respect for the Argentine star, whom he considers the best of today.

So, maybe his eldest son, would follow his footsteps and adore Ronaldo or Messi as well, but it turns out that he is not. In a recent interview with an Italian newspaper, Zlatan was asked whether he himself was his little one's greatest idol. However, his response surprised not only the interviewer, but also everyone who reads or listens to his words. Very firmly, he replied that it is neither Cristiano nor Messi, the most popular names when talking to a child today.

It even turns out that he is not even a forward, nor a winger, nor a midfielder, nor much less scorer. He is a defensive midfielder, world champion and former teammate of Zlatan himself for a couple of seasons: Gennaro Gattuso. Precisely, he related that days ago, on March 6, he got in touch with his little boy's true idol, Gattuso, to send him a surprise for his birthday. "I heard about Gennaro a few days ago. I told him I need to send him a congratulations message on my son's birthday," he admitted.

Immediately, the interviewer, very surprised, according to Mundo Deportivo, asked him if he was not one of the two stars of the moment. "Are they neither Cristiano nor Messi?" Faced with this, the veteran Milan striker answered bluntly: "No, neither Cristiano nor Messi. Gennaro Gattuso." Currently, Zlatan remains active playing at the age of 39 and at a high level with AC Milan in Serie A and the Europa League, although he is currently injured. For his part, Gattuso is Napoli's coach, ranking sixth in the Italian tournament and recently eliminated by Granada in the Europa League round of 32.
