Jürgen Klopp has picked a replacement: Thiago Alcántara is furious and could leave LiverpoolThe Spanish midfielder has arrived to Liverpool for this season but has seriously struggled to settle down in the starting XI.
The Golden year of 2019 seems too far away for Liverpool FC. They are struggling in the English Premier League way behind Manchester City and Manchester United who are leading the table and at the same time they are suffering because of some signings that costed lots of money and are not actually paying back inside the field. The main case is Thiago Alcantara.
The Spanish midfielder arrived to Anfield after conquering the UEFA Champions League with Bayern Munich in last August. Arriving as a stellar signing the club and the fans had lots of hopes placed on him. But losing both centre backs was a huge blow for Jürgen Klopp, and also it was seriously difficult for Alcantara to adapt to the team.
But apparently European club could be set and decided to replace the 29 year old with a similar player who would cost a fortune but it could mean a very good asset for the team as well. Liverpool bought him for $26.62 million in September after Bayern Munich won the Champions League.
Now it was reported that European club is closely looking at Argentinian national teams midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, who is 20 six years old and place for Italian Serie A side Udinese. His price could be substantially higher given he was bought for just $3.6 million but he's value in 2021 ask per transfer market is 42 million dollars, but the club could ask for almost $50 million.
