Lionel Messi is one of the greatest soccer players in history. The Argentinian achieved some impressive records, that make many people think that he is the best player ever. His level is compared to the one of Diego Maradona, Pelé or, more frequently, his greatest competitor Cristiano Ronaldo.

But Messi is not only what he shows on the field. The historical no. 10 has an impressive humility and, differently to other soccer stars, loves to be humble and to enjoy his privacy with his family. When talking about him, it is strange to find polemic, controversy and disputes.

According to what he is, Messi has gifted the boots with which he scored his historical goal no. 644, to break the world record of goals scored for a single club. He made them for FC Barcelona and overcome the one that Pelé had with Santos. Now, he gave them to the national Catalan museum of art for a good reason.

The boots will be auctioned to raise money for charity next month. It is said that thousand dollars could be paid for them, as they are an object of collection. Messi is near to leave Barcelona after more than 20 years, being Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City the clubs with more chances to sign him.
