It is the new soccer star in North America and could possibly join one of the greatest clubs in Europe in case they pay a significant amount of money for his transfer. Meanhile, Gio Reyna is Borussia Dortmund’s new hope in Bundesliga. The son of former USMNT’s captain Claudio Reyna looks set to move to a bigger club.

According to Italy’s CalcioMercato.it, two clubs from that country are closely looking at the 18-year-old star to sign him from Dortmund. It could represent a massive deal for the German side since he joined on a free transfer from New York City FC’s Academy at the end of 2018-19 season, as per Transfermarkt.

So far, Reyna has played 26 games in the season, and has scored four goals, three of them in the Bundesliga, and another one in a game in DFB-Pokal, the German equal to the Spanish Copa del Rey, England’s FA Cup or Italy’s Coppa Italia. Now, Inter and Juventus are interested in grabbing him.

According to Transfermarkt, Reyna’s market value is €30 million, which would equal to $36.3 million. When asked on the existence of a release clause, Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc declined to comment.
