Roger Federer vs. Lionel Messi: who has the best collection of luxury cars?

Roger Federer and Lionel Messi are two of the most respected and talented athletes from the last decades. The Swiss and the Argentine are probably the two best players from tennis and soccer history respectively. That make them possible to earn fortunes and transform into some of the richest persons in the world as well.

When deciding what to buy with the millions gained, Federer and Messi opted to chose cars. The luxurious garage of the tennis legend is composed by a lot of Mercedes-Benz, the brand that sponsors him: a CLS 450, an SLR, an SLS AMG, an E Cabriolé, a GTS and CLS 63. Despite his link to Mercedes-Benz, he also has some other vehicles, as a Range Rover Sport SVR.

Messi also has a lot of cars. Differently from Federer, he has now sponsorship with a top international brand, but that doesn’t mean a problem for him, as he can afford to buy the car he wants to. The vehicles from the historical no. 10 from FC Barcelona are a Porsche Panamera, an Audi A7 Sportback, a Cadillac Escalade, a Lexus LX570, a Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale, a Ferrari F430 Spider and a Range Rover Vogue.

Despite they both have very impressive vehicles, neither Federer nor Messi like to show off they luxurious garages. It is strange to see them driving those and there are almost no pictures of them in their cars. Unlike other athletes’ idols, they have a low-profile and prefer not to call the attention outside the fields.
