Many soccer players do something else after their retire, and discover new passions or simply do what they could not before. And this is the case of a former Spanish striker, who played for his national team and teared up his league for many years in different clubs, even becoming a legend of one of them.

He blossomed in his thirties, and in that period he managed to score lots of goals for Athletic Club, and equalling a record that only Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos got before, of scoring in 15 La Liga consecutive seasons. He retired last year at 39 years old, and now he spends his time surfing.

That former player is Aritz Aduriz, who scored 285 goals in 780 matches in his twenty year career. The last one was the best, with a bicycle kick in the last minute to beat FC Barcelona. Also, he played 13 matches with Spain, becoming the oldest in score a goal when he was 35. Bilbao has beautiful beaches and Aduriz took his time to surf in his free time.

Other famous players, like Neymar or Pepe, have developed a taste for surf too. With no more soccer matches, trainings, travels, diets and other restrictions, the third top scorer in the history of Athletic Club is starting his new life post retirement in the beach, the surf board and the waves.
