Apart from being a really hard opponent in the UFC ring, Conor McGregor is known for having a strong passion for luxury watches. His collection is quite large, but he has just spent £2.2 million, arguably $3 million, in two new units. He is now currently in Abu Dhabi, getting ready to make his comeback against USA’s Dustin Poirier.

He’s bought two models from Jacob & Co's. One of them is the ‘Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette’, valued in $1 million, and the other one is called ‘Rasputin’, valued in $2.05 million. It’s easy to do the math and conclude he’s spent $3 million in two incredibly pretty watches. This could be enough to pay for the contract of several football stars.

Liverpool FC is considered to have the best pair of wing full-backs in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson on the right and left side, respectively. Jürgen Klopp could be proud of having two relatively cheap players in such a high level, since Robertson’s contract allegedly reports him $2.9 million per year, and Alexander-Arnold’s, $2.72 million as per Spotrac.

Now, moving further up in the field, Internazionale has lots of hopes placed in Lautaro Martinez’ goals. The Argentina’s national team striker has joined the Nerazurros after 2018 World Cup, which he narrowly missed despite being on the preliminary squad. His contract reports him $3 million as per the report leaked from Serie A.

Uruguay’s Rodrigo Bentancur earns $3 million too in Juventus. Back to the English Premier League, Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood has a contract deal for $2.45 million per season. Other stars are his team-mate Diogo Dalot ($1.73 million), and Manchester City’s Phil Foden ($0.8 million).
