This Wednesday the players called up by Gerardo Tata Martino for the Mexico's national team for the games against Japan and South Korea for the FIFA international window of November were known. Of course, thee players who weren't called attracted more attention than does who actually were called. And one of them is that of Alan Pulido

Gerardo Martino called up the America's forward Henry Martin and Wolverhampton's Raul Jimenez as the only center-forwards. To the fans' surprise, Alan Pulido was left aside. After the anger of the fans, the reason why he wont' join the squad of the Mexican team was communicated.

Martino originally intended to call up the Sporting Kansas City forward for the Austrian tour, but Pulido's ligament injury prevented him from doing so. Pulido suffered an injury on his left knee while training and will not be able to start the Major League Soccer playoffs with his club.

The former Chivas de Guadalajara player played on the last international window with the Mexican national team on the Netherlands. There, Mexico faced the Netherlands and Algeria. Against the African country, Alan Pulido had minutes of play alongside Raul Jimenez.
