Henry Martin is currently one of the best Liga MX attackers, not to say the best one. Aged 28, he transformed himself into a key player for Club America and is one of the players who scored the most amount of goals during the tournament Guard1anes. He is going through one of the best moments of his professional career, with no doubts.

Such a present took him back to Mexico national team. He makes his professional debut there on September 2015 but was absent almost in every single nominee since then. With Gerardo Martino as a head coach he finally returned on 2020 and played three games so far this year, scoring one goal and giving an assist.

The life on Henry Martin wasn’t that easy. When he was a boy, his father, who had some experience in soccer, didn’t want him to be a player. He was set to study and to be an engineer, but at the end an agent convinced his dad of the great talent that he had, and he could play professionally.

Martin started his career at Itzaes, then player for Mérida FC, Venados FC, Club Tijuana and finally arrived to America, on January 2018. With such experience and with a contract remaining until June 2021, he is thinking on staying at the Liga MX side for now and try to gain a title, as the one they are going to be fighting for on Guard1anes 2020 playoffs.
