Zlatan Ibrahimovic finally overcame COVID-19 and went back to the field, to play against Sparta Praha, the second match of AC Milan in the Europa League. The Swedish attacker had a very clear opportunity to score, executing a penalty for his team, but things didn't end as he awaited.

Ibrahimovic's execution hited the crossbar and the ball went out. Many fans remembered the penalty kicked by Gonzalo Higuaín on his Inter Miami debut, also failed. Ibra, aged 39, has now missed three of his last five penalties for the Italian side, more than any other player in European top-5 leagues.

Milan is having an incredible start of the season, after wining both Europa League matches, against Celtic and Sparta Praha, and four out of five games of the Serie A. Zlatan was a very important part of the team, but since he suffered COVID-19 he had to self-isolate himself and was absence during some matches.

Ibrahimovic has a contract remaining with AC Milan until June 2021. He signed it after leaving LA Galaxy on January 2020 as a free agent. This may be the very last months of the attacker as a professional player. Even though his incredible physical condition may help him, it will all get to an end soon.
