"I think it just shows his hunger to be in there for 90 minutes at a time. But we got a duty to protect him as well, almost from himself. He’s still young. He is a top player, he’s going to get even better, but he won’t do that if he’s injured", said Glass after the episode. The coach believes Barco's anger is not aimed at him.

A lot of words has been said since Barco's possible transfer. But the truth is that the Argentinian player performance is not quite good these days. Arriving in 2018 after winning an international trophie with Independiente de Avellaneda, the 21-year-old midfielder has only shown flashes in his time with Atlanta.

“The biggest, most important thing is his long-term availability and [that] we look after him properly. That’s going to be the case of how we’ve looked after him. He understands that, he came in, spoke in the locker room to some of the staff afterwards that he knows that’s not really the way to go. But we understand it. We’re all in it together and we want to win",  deduced Glass.
