2020 has not been the best year for Miguel Layún. He went from starter to bench warmer in a few months and the right back spot in Rayados’ starting eleven is not his anymore. That could lead the international for Mexico to look forward to another league where he could get more playtime. Good news for him, three MLS clubs have him in their plans.

The first team interested in the 32 years old defender is LA Galaxy: they are in need of a good right back, something that would guarantee him minutes. And, after a bad campaign, Layún would be extremely useful for strengthen the squad. They need to get again that hierarchy they have lost in the last two years.

The second one is Austin FC. This newborn team is building its roster from scratch and having someone like him, alongside with Cecilio Domínguez and Paul Aguilar, would make an attractive option for the possible signings that the club needs to step a strong foot into Major League Soccer.

And the last one is Inter Miami CF. They have a good team, but their season was absolutely underwhelming. Good players in key positions are missing and the pace of the players is not good enough for MLS. Layún would play a big role in solving those problems, and that is why he is wanted by the club owned by David Beckham.
