Los Angeles FC is worried about the end of the MLS regular season since it will not be able to have 4 players since they were called up to play the FIFA matches. Rossi, Palacios, Rodriguez and Cifuentes are the players who will not be able to be with LAFC for more than a month.

FIFA and MLS would not have reached an agreement and the decision was left to each club and this hurt LAFC. Although their main forward had not been called up by Tabarez for the Uruguay national team, the recent injury to Cristian Stuani made Rossi the replacement for what he left Los Angeles shortly.

Los Angeles FC currently sits in fifth position on the MLS Eastern Conference table. Their main objective of entering the playoff is almost achieved and that is why they decided that their players can travel for the FIFA date. Although the health of the players is concerned, Los Angeles is confident that they will not be affected for the playoffs.

Players who travel with their selected teams, in addition to missing the dates that are not there since the MLS does not stop their championship, must do at least 14 days of quarantine per MLS protocol. They will arrive just for when the playoffs start and LAFC is going to need Rossi above all to be at his best if they want to aspire to get the MLS title.
