Atlanta United suffered in another critical night on Week 21, loosing 4-1 against Orlando City. The chances for them to qualify to the playoffs zone are now very few, as there are only two games remaining. Even though head coach Stephen Glass has just managed the team during 16 games, his departure may be soon after the results.

Glass signed with the Five Strip on July 2020 and managed the team during 16 games with a result of nine defeats, four ties and three wins. After another defeat, fans asked in social media for the coach to be sacked and sport adviser may be managing some options for the next season.

Even though it is still too early to look for a replacement, there are some good head coaches at Liga MX that may be interesting Atlanta United. Just to name to cases we have Ignacio Ambriz, coach from León, the team that stands first in the tournament Guard1anes, and Robert Siboldi, coach from Cruz Azul, second in the league.

Atlanta United have just earned 19 points after 21 games played in the season and stand 13th in the Eastern Conference. Even though there are only four points that separate them from the playoffs zone, there are two matches remaining, against Cincinatti (November 1) and Columbus Crew (November 8).
